The venue is less than a mile from the world re-nowned
Cliffs of Moher and in a very rural location. However
there are 5 major centres of tourism within a 10 mile
radius, offering a wide choice of accomoadation for all
tastes. Buses run from Doolin, Lahinch, Liscannor to a
half mile from the venue.
If you coming here with no transport – please contact
Christine in Ireland on 00 353 65 7081129 before you book
your accomodation and she will try and link you in with
others to share lifts to and from the
venue.
Places to Stay
The
nearest 2 places are Doolin
(5 miles)
and Liscannor
(5 miles)
Doolin is livelier and therefore likely to be a bit more
noisy but has a good atmosphere.
Liscannor
is much quieter
although there are several pubs and 2 hotels.
Both Doolin and Liscannor have much more accomodation
than listed – if you look on the internet you will find
loads.
Both villages also have a lot of self-catering
accomomdation if you are coming wth other people –
Dream Ireland manage a lot of the
properties or you can search on the internet.
Lisdoonvarna
( 6 miles) (to be avoided in Sept as the
match making festival will be in full swing!!!), has
several hotels and B and B’s.
Lahinch (7
miles) (good for surfing but can be
noisy at night at the weekends if you are in the
town). Lahinch Golf and Leisure
Hotel has a gym and swimming
pool.
Ennistymon
(8 miles) is a small market town and
has the Falls Hotel with Spa
- if you want
to spoil yourself!!
