How Does
Ian Work?
Ian's work is highly individualized and varies with each
client. Sessions are booked individually and clients are
encouraged to follow up as and when they feel it to be
desirable. Some clients book only one session while
others work on a regular basis over a period of time. To
get the full benefit from Ian's work, a reasonably high
degree of self-responsibility is necessary.
The main focus of Ian's work is to bring increased
awareness to whatever is currently most influential at an
unconscious level. This creates an opportunity for
releasing outmoded beliefs, emotions, behaviours and
aspects of your self-image which no longer serve your
growth. It also enables you to establish a deeper
connection with your core self, and to activate and
fulfill life potentialities which had been hitherto
undeveloped.
Depending on the client's needs at the time, Ian will
work in one or more of the following ways:
* Belief
Change -
bringing limiting beliefs into awareness and updating
them where necessary
* Emotional
Release Techniques - releasing blocked or stuck
emotional energies & patterns
* Journey
Work -
guided inner process to release old traumas and activate
self-healing energies
* Process
Work -
bringing awareness to a client's unconscious process and
assisting them in becoming aligned with their own life's
path
*
Transition Work - assisting the client
through a difficult life transition
* Voice
Dialogue -
working with subpersonalities to reduce inner conflict
* Dream
Work -
utilizing dreams for developing self-awareness and
understanding messages from the unconscious
Whilst there is no obligation to follow up regularly or
to book a set number of sessions, Ian's experience has
been that making
a commitment to your own growth process
is a crucial step
in the direction of deep and lasting personal
transformation.
Who is it
For?
Ian's work is particularly suitable for those who are
undergoing a life transition of some kind or other, or
who feel the need to transform some aspect of their life
and would like support in doing so. Signals that a life
transition may be imminent or necessary can include:
* A feeling of stuckness or needing to break out/break
free
* Depression, boredom, or a sense that life has lost its
meaning
* Mood swings, increased anxiety or other strong emotions
* Dissatisfaction and a feeling of being trapped or
overwhelmed
* Destructive patterns of behaviour, emotion or
relationship
* Sudden accidents, injuries and other kinds of 'wake up'
call
* Illnesses & symptoms that refuse to go away
* Vivid dreams, nightmares, visions or intuitions
Does Ian
still prescribe Remedies?
Ian sometimes makes recommendations of homeopathic
remedies and, more often, flower essences in his
consultation work, but they are offered as
support
measures only and are not the main focus of
the sessions. If you are looking for someone to 'find a
remedy' for you, Ian's suggestion would be to consult
with a practising homeopath.
Many of Ian's clients have a health-care practitioner or
prescriber already and are looking to work on a deeper
level, or they have reached the limits of what
homeopathic and other forms of medicine can do at the
present time. Ian works directly with a person's inner
growth process and self-healing ability, which
complements, but does not take the place of appropriate
medical care where this is needed.
Does Ian
work with Children?
At present, Ian works only with children who are aged
sixteen or over and with adults of all ages.
